New Baptismal Font Blessed

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of our parish, a new baptismal font area has been erected inside the doors of our church.  The new font area utilizes the original font, and is now enhanced by beautiful mosaic tile that symbolize the liturgical seasons of the year.  The water inside the font now runs continuously, representing the "living waters" of baptism.  The area also brings back marble once used as the communion rail in the church.  The font area also includes a new ambry, and appropriate stand for our Easter Candle.
